Frequently asked questions:
Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact
What is the difference between the Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact and the standard 2 Group?
The Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact keeps two group heads, dual steam wands and a hot water outlet in a 515mm wide body with a 6 litre copper boiler and a 2200 Watt element on a 10 amp supply. The standard Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group is 735mm wide with an 11.5 litre boiler and 3050 Watts on a 15 amp supply. The Compact delivers two-group workflow in 220mm less bench space and on a standard power point.
How much bench space does the Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact need?
How much bench space does the Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact need?
Does the Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact need a special electrical circuit?
The Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact runs at 2200 Watts on a minimum 10 amp supply, so it works from a standard power point with no dedicated high-amp circuit. That makes it straightforward to install in an existing office kitchen or break-out area.
Can two people make coffee at the same time on the EX2 2 Group Compact?
Two people can work the Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact at once: it has two group heads, dual steam wands and a separate hot water outlet, so one person can pull shots while another textures milk or pours hot water for tea. That is unusual in a machine only 515mm wide.
Is a 6 litre boiler big enough for a medium office?
A 6 litre copper boiler is specified for medium office use, and in the Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact it delivers consistent heat and smooth extraction at that volume. Sites with cafe-level, continuous milk demand should step up to the Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group and its 11.5 litre boiler.
What features come standard on the Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact?
The Expobar Crem EX2 2 Group Compact includes a cup warming tray, half turn taps, a programmable keypad, direct pre-infusion, a steam pressure gauge and a high group configuration for larger cups. It is a plumbed machine and requires a mains water connection and drain at the install point.
